Child Horoscopy is always a critical side of astrology and for its

practitioners a task to carry with lot of care; making sure not going

against the dictum of Vedic Science. Unfortunately, most of them

make the same mistake of making tall claims or predictions about

the child. However, Vedic Astrology and Science terms it as wrong

and for Vedic practitioners doing such act is no less than crime.

What are the reasons behind going against the Vedic Dictum?

Ø  Parents are too eager to know the future even before the child has adjusted itself to the new world. So, they offer money to do same and their desperate emotions compel the astrologers in some cases.

Ø  However, as the purity of Vedic Astrology has been destroyed by few commercial thugs so motive behind such cheap act is to show competency; and also to make money by mentioning about certain affliction.

Ø  Every astrologer wants to promote themselves and on doing this to stay floating in the competition they sometime overstep.

Ø  It’ s very easy to make money on child horoscope as the predictions are made for long term and thus have no fear of getting exposed of fraudulent practice. It also give them greater ability to make money as the parents are ready to spend any amount for their child if they come across any negative term.

Therefore, in today’s blog my intention is to share with all astrology

enthusiasts and lay man the facts of Child Horoscopy. Also those 

interested in Vedic Astrology and learning it will find this 

information very useful in their analysis and practice.

I will start with “why should we not make prediction later follow it with don’ts as this part is often used by greedy astrologers to make 

money, than we will continue with do’s.

Why baby Horoscope prediction should not be done?

Ø  Child is the purest manifestation of God’s love for the world. It shows the God’s willingness to bring happiness to every couple and also make sure that human civilization continues. Therefore, every child brings a guardian angel with him or her when they arrive in the world; as they are too innocent for this mean world.

Mother is the greatest caretaker they have after the angels. Making any prediction will thus, not fructify as they have their mother’s affection attach to them and angels guidance available to them. In such case only the astrologer brings upon him or her huge karmic backlog to suffer in this or some other life.

Ø  Every child is born with same pattern i.e. the first four years they live as per the karmas of their mother. So, any good or bad that happens with the child is directly related to the karmas of mother in this or from previous life.

The next three years he or she enjoys or suffers the karmas of his or her father. Similarly any bad or good is accountable for the karmas of the father in current or past life.

Thirdly, every child brings their past karma's that they will face in the next 5 years. So, all good and bad results will be direct results of his last life actions.

Ø  So, the point is very clear for everyone I think from the above points; that the first 12 years we should not make any predictions about a child (4 + 3 + 5 = 12). As no predictions can work as he is under the law of karma and nature. 

(Note: - Remember making prediction about a baby is crime, sin,

and trying to only bring curse from Vedic sages who ensured that these rules are followed not ridiculed or broken)

Don’ts about Child Horoscopy Analysis:

Ø  Never say the predictions of immediate life in near future

Ø  Avoid predictions or reading on wealth combinations (dhana yogas) and power combinations (raja yogas)

Ø  The astrologer should not make any utterances on higher education beyond 12 years

Ø  Carrier and professional life should not be the center of reading

Ø  Marriage, breakup, and divorce should not be uttered even if the parents insist (mostly parents who go for love marriage or are too conventional go for such questions). These types of questions are also common from parents who are blessed with a girl child.

Ø  Longevity in no way should be discussed (it’s not to be discussed even for elderly people or someone ill or on the brink of death). Only solace should be to give lot of hope, remedies, and positive thoughts cultivation amid the native.

Ø  For child horoscopy make sure assets or rise of father or any ill fortune to parents should not be predicted.

Ø  Kal Sarpa Dosh, Manglik Dosh, and any other so called scary combinations discussion should be avoided.

So, these are the main points that needs care and cautious approach

while analysis; as sometime the astrologers even out of excitement 

go forth with his readings. These points and all related analysis 

stuff should be avoided.

I am sure that many are now thinking than what to be said about

the reading; as it’s very common that parents will approach after

a child birth. Let’s check the do’s!

Do’s about Child Horoscope Analysis:

Ø  Congratulate the couple on being a proud parent to a child.

Ø  Second talk about the don’ts clearly and let them know why Vedic Astrology and Science prohibit from doing so.

Ø  Third let them know that you can extract the horoscope for their child and let them know the important information allowed as per Vedic astrology.

Ø  Let them know the information about the child horoscope based on “What is the Lagna (Birth Ascendant), Rashi (Moon Sign), Nakshatra (Moon Sign and Rising Sign Constellation), Gana, Varna, Lord of Lagna, Lord of Rashi, and Lord of Nakshatra (both).

Ø  Also one can add if willing like favorable points like “good numbers, lucky numbers, and lucky years.”

Ø  Astrologers can also talk about the good planets in the chart, friendly signs, lucky metal, lucky stone, lucky time, and lucky direction.

Ø  So, to make the session interesting they should try to explain the general significations about the above rather than referring it to the chart. So, in this way you can follow the rule of astrology and also make the session worth (not disappointed as all parents visit with lot of expectations to hear well about their child).

Ø  Only prediction should be made on conditions (example: if a child is having some balarishta etc), give the best remedies without being greedy. Remember it’s about the life of child and also suggest the parents to take special care and routine doctor visit for child’s well-being  Also, don’t let the parents know such grave facts, just keep it simple and effective.
